DeleteYou really do have a talent when it comes to drawing, there is no disputing that. There is, however, one thing that I found more than a little disconcerting and that is the crazy lack of consent this game (and a lot of yaoi games) have. There is no seduction here; the player's character bullies/manipulates Ryu into doing something that he is CLEARLY not comfortable with and that is nothing short of disturbing.
ReplyDeleteThese games are a work of love for the creator, obviously a lot of time went into it (few people would make such things if they didn't like the character) so why are all options of interaction manipulative or objectifying instead of being seductive?

DeleteI think you got the idea pretty well, this game is actually making Ryu a simple sex object just as intended as an homoerotic fantasy. Since this was initially aimed to a male homosexual public, the concept of seducing an heterosexual male character by a male protagonist is not doable unless a change of Ryu's sexual preference is stated as homosexual which is against what little is known on the matter via any official data from Capcom and changing the protagonist for a female would probably dispel the male public which was initially aimed.
As a work of fantasy with no real life characters on it, the game's only intend is to portray a fantasy where a virile character like Ryu is tricked into getting naked and masturbated, a fantasy scenario pretty common among the male homosexual public. By no means this flash game condones or encourages rape as something acceptable in real life and is a poor and unreal example of coercion to achieve it.
I won't fill this with text as well but I can tell you that I find more disturbing the objectifying of real-life women in modern media and people in general considering it acceptable and even desirable. I too would recommend you to read some of the Marquis de Sade works (only if you aren't under-aged), specially Justine, or the Misfortunes of Virtue and Juliette novels to change your own perceptions on the topics you clearly show you're uncomfortable to deal with or to avoid all contact with erotic work as a whole. I amicably invite you to stop visiting any website (including mine) that contains material that makes you feel uncomfortable and/or opposes your views so you won't pass a bad time.
